Andrea Kirwin and Claire Evelynn
Andrea Kirwin is an Australian-Fijian Singer-songwriter based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, who has been performing at Folk Festivals across Australia and New Zealand for almost 2 decades.
With a warm stage presence, soulful sound and a knack for storytelling, Andrea creates beautiful original songs that are influenced by her early years growing up as the daughter of a Fijian Church minister in Townsville in the late 80s and by her love of American R&B/Soul as a teen in the 90s. Discovering Folk and World music at University in Canberra, she picked up a guitar at aged 21 and began her journey as a touring singer-songwriter with her first band The Andi and George Band.
Andrea has gone on to release 5 independent albums under her label Peace Run Records and is performing as a duo with her wife Claire Evelynn on Celtic harp creating truly beautiful renditions of Andrea’s original music. Their live sets feature stunning vocals, acoustic guitar, cigar box guitar, harmonica, stomp and the Celtic Harp.
