Will Gibb
Will Gibb is a 20-year-old old soul capturing his own idea of music-honest, warm and shaped by the coastline he grew up on. A singer-songwriter and musician from Torquay, Victoria, Will blends heartfelt storytelling with the intimacy of folk and the raw edge of roots rock. His sound is built on soulful ballads, intricate fingerstyle guitar and a voice that carries depth beyond his years.
Raised along the Surf Coast, Will first stepped into music through the VET Music program in high school, where he performed at local venues and later received the Geoff Robinson Award for Music. Since then, he has continued to carve out a place in Australia’s folk community. He completed the SongMakers program with Woodford and APRA AMCOS, performed at the Woodford Folk Festival in both 2024/25 and 2025/26, and was selected for the Foot in the Door folk competition at the Queenscliff Music Festival.
In 2024, Will won the Emerging Artist Stage at the Festival of Sails, adding to a growing list of performances across local venues, markets, and festivals. Though currently studying primary teaching, music remains his true passion. An anchor, a craft, and a connection he brings to every stage.
