Hassall
Hassall is a singer-songwriter & self-confessed rambler whose style is self-described as “Australian Sharehouse Pop”. Hailing from Geelong, she cleverly stirs together dynamic vocals, range-traversing melodies, and seemingly everyday observations of a twenty-something to create music that moves even the pint guzzlers at the back of the room.
Her debut album ‘Means More To Me Than It Does To You’ was released July of 2025. The body of work deals with some recurring themes including procrastination, the downfalls of rising technology, intimacy issues, drinking too much coffee, and of course, love. This stunning first full-length from Hassall was received with acclaim: ‘Dinner Table’ was named Rolling Stone Aus’s Best Australian Music of the Week upon release, and the upbeat music video for ‘Overpopulater’ featured on Rage for a consecutive 8 weeks.
Central to Hassall’s charm is her natural ability to connect with an audience. She has made waves throughout the Australian indie scene over the past 12 months supporting the likes of Killing Heidi, Crash Test Dummies, Mia Wray, The Beautiful Girls, and DICE.
“I attend your gigs because your songs tell me more about you than you ever will” – her mother, to her.
