Seventeen-year-old Grace Watt is a local singer-songwriter who’s always loved music. Growing up surrounded by the sound of waves, the laughter of family, and her family farm, music has always been more than a passion- it’s been a way of capturing moments.

With an acoustic guitar in hand, Grace crafts songs inspired by the beach, home, and the people who shape her world. Her goal is to create music that feels organic, comforting, and real. Each song is written with the intent of giving listeners the chance to breathe, slow down, and sink into the lyrics.

When writing, Grace believes in leaving space for personal interpretation, for different emotions, and for each listener to find their own reflection in the words. Whether it’s the sound of waves, or the feeling of home, she hopes her music has a place for everyone.

For Grace, music isn’t just about writing songs- it’s about making others feel understood, safe, and part of something beautifully human.

Grace Watt is joining the Port Fairy Folk Festival through the Future Folk Program, a partnership between Port Fairy Folk Festival and Moyne Shire Council’s AMPLIFY program, with funding by the Victorian Government.
