Friends of the Festival

The Friends of the Festival is a volunteer group, that without, the festival would not be possible. If you love all things Folkie, enjoy working as a team, and want to have a blast doing it, then this is for you.

Please note volunteer positions are very limited, submission of this application does not guarantee a spot.

Please mention any health issues that may be relevant to assist us to roster you in a suitable position (eg bad back).

ROSTER SESSIONS

Volunteer Friends of the Festival need to be available for scheduling for the duration of the festival. Hours required may be from Friday 8am until Monday 5pm. The session times will be allocated as required, and will include a mix of day and night shifts.
EXTRA HOURS? The volunteers requirement is a minimum of 10 to 12 hours but tell us if you would like the opportunity or wish to do more hours. We really appreciate the extra help!
Please select your preferred position from the following list. We will aim to allocate you to a preferred position if available, however this is not always possible.
Tell us about any previous experience you have volunteering or working at other festivals, or any special skills you may have - eg Theatre Stage; PA Operation etc.
If you have worked at PFFF before, please state the last year(s) if possible.
To assist us in placing you in a suitable position and make best use of your skill set, please provide what area you work currently or most recently. Please give details on other skills or particular certificates, qualifications you may have. eg Special Licenses, Trade Certification, First Aid, RSA, Working with Children, Food Handling.
