Singing Our Futures is a music mentoring program supported by the Archie Roach Foundation. It supports young emerging First Nations artists in their songwriting and recording journeys. At Port Fairy Folk Festival this year, there will be a conversation and performance by the Singing Our Futures mentee’s: Katie Apsel, CANISHA, Janaya Roach, Gugin Bruthaz and SEDRIECE. They’ll talk about navigating through music as young First Nations artists, songwriting, recording and playing their songs live. fans/fiends from their live shows.
