
OUT OF HAND
Sadie, Caleb, Josh, Caleb and Daniel play toe-tapping tunes, lilting Celtic melodies and stirring originals. Since coming together, they have been selected to play at the National Celtic Festival and the Newport Folk Festival among other gigs and concerts across Victoria.
Brothers Caleb, Josh and Daniel Anderson play together with the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club. Caleb plays fiddle and viola and was the Face of the Festival for the 2020 National Celtic Festival, awarded a mentorship with Feis Rois in Scotland for their Ceilidh Trail and has played at a number of Royal Edinburgh Tattoos. Josh currently leads a contemporary music group with his acoustic guitar. Daniel pairs his Celtic double bass playing with performing with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra.
Siblings Sadie (fiddle/guitar/vocals) and Charlie Mustoe (bodhran/vocals) are festival regulars, having performed at numerous folk events around the country. In 2018 they won the Youth Award at the Cygnet Folk Festival. Sadie is also known to many as an award-winning singer-songwriter who has over 30 festival appearances under her belt.. She was awarded the 2021 Runner Up Folk Youth Artist of the Year by the Australian Folk Alliance.
