The four members of 19-Twenty stand on a stage with a packed audience behind them. The crowed is cheering and excited.

Sweet Talk, the 6-piece band from Melbourne originally bonded over a love of late nights, American music, classic song writing and improvised jams. Add to that a penchant for good times and a talent for terrible banter and you’ve got all the right ingredients for some groovy home brew.

As discerning disciples of some of history’s all-time southern, blues, country, gospel, soul and rock bands; band leaders and guitar weavers Soren Walker and D.M. Turner have paid their dues, chasing the music they fell in love with at an early age. They are joined by fellow devotees Tane Walker (Vox), Craig Mattingley (Keys), James Vincent Harding (Bass) & Nic Symons (Drums), all lifelong fans of real music played by real people.

Already renowned for their high-energy live shows – readily whipping unsuspecting punters into frenzied states of boogie and unabashed song at the drop of a hat – the band recently doubled down on their ethos to record their first release completely live to tape. All in the same room.
