Port Fairy Folk Festival keeps getting bigger in 2023!
Today we announced the third artist line-up for our 2023 Festival over the long weekend 10-13 March.

Port Fairy Folk Festival today announced the second artist line-up for its major four-day event by the mighty Southern Ocean running across the Labour Day long weekend, 10-13 March 2023.

Due to a COVID exposure, Liz Stringer is unable to perform this weekend at Port Fairy Folk Festival. We wish Liz and her team a speedy recovery, and hope they can come back in future years.

2022 Artist of the Year + Emerging Artist of the Year

In the lead up to the return of the Port Fairy Folk Festival in March 2022, the major music event today announced acclaimed Mutti Mutti man, singer and songwriter Kutcha Edwards as its Artist of the Year, the festival’s greatest honour in partnership with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and Maton Guitars. Standing alongside the great bluesman, the Port Fairy Folk Festival announced lo-fi folk soul star Kee’ahn as its Emerging Artist of the Year, supported by Just Guitars.

Launching the Archie Roach Foundation Stage

Beloved national music icon and Maar Nation Elder, Uncle Archie Roach AM, is incredibly proud to launch the inaugural Archie Roach Foundation stage on Peek Whurrong country, thanks to a very special partnership with the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
