The four members of 19-Twenty stand on a stage with a packed audience behind them. The crowed is cheering and excited.

Homegrown in the Grampians, life-long songwriter, Etta Lane shares snippets of personal narratives in contemporary yet vintage-flecked nostalgic folk. Etta Lane’s performances come from humble beginnings – initially singing self-composed songs to an array of childhood toys and trinkets. Over the years as her confidence extended to perform to living, breathing crowds, the passion for writing remained.

With satirical honesty reflecting on past-self and experiences, her “pretty songs for ugly feelings” are a tangle of growing pains and bittersweet hindsight – a catalogue trickling honey-soaked vocals with sepia-toned introspection.
Etta can be found playing local cover gigs around the Surf Coast with increasingly more original shows. Next on the calendar following PFFF will be Creswick Music Festival in April for its second year running.
