Legendary songmen Ngulmiya and Nayurryurr Nundhirribala, from the remote homelands of Arnhem Land, present their traditional and ceremonial songs from their new “Catalunya” album featuring the virtuoso Catalonian guitarist Pau Figueres. The album was recorded in both Barcelona and the remote sand dunes of Numbulwar, Arnhem. For the first time, Ngulmiya, a traditional ceremony leader and Pau, known to embrace and disrupt Flamenco, bring two emotive and passionate traditions together.
